Toy #1: Model Teeth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Play is a great way to introduce new concepts to children, so why not incorporate it into their dental education? There are several choices including wind-up chomping teeth, plushies, and teaching models. If your child struggles with brushing and flossing their pearly whites every day, an informal demonstration on the playmat can help them become more comfortable with the process. They may not be old enough to understand concepts like cavities and gingivitis, but you can talk with them about how important it is to keep our mouths clean. If your child prefers cuddly stuffies then they\u2019ll adore this cozier alternative to model teeth. These huggable dolls are as soft as their other stuffed animals but have one major difference. Instead of a cute snout or smiling face, they have happy open mouths full of bright pearly whites. The choices range from magical unicorns to grinning lions to chomping alligators, so you\u2019re sure to find one that your little one will enjoy. Many come with their own, cartoony toothbrushes so your kid can practice, as well as a pouch to store any lost teeth while they wait for the tooth fairy at night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
